Demand for Implementation of Journalist Pension Scheme
Bhubaneswar, 12.8 (Voice of India /Binaya Kumar Das) – A friend meeting of Nemal Press Club has been held on Sunday morning in the premises of Mahima Gadi in Nischintakoli block Nemalo Maliga. In this program under the chairmanship of senior journalist Abhaya Kumar Jena, many senior journalists participated and expressed their views on the various problems faced by journalists and their remedies. In this meeting, the advisor of the senior journalist Sj.Ratnakar Barik, advisor journalist Binaya Kumar Das, journalist Gobind Das, President of the association Kshyamanidhi Pujhari attended the meeting and demanded that the state government identify the journalists on duty and solve their various problems and implement the journalist pension scheme. Among others, journalist Kiran Shankar Nayak,journalist Minaketan Das,journalist Ezaj Khan,journalist Akshaya Kumar Das, journalist Sujata Goswami,journalist Sachitananda Malik have joined the association while recently Bibhutibhushan Dwivedi and Prashant Singh have joined the association as new members. At the end, journalist Amitav Mohapatra gave vote of thanks.
