Bhubaneswar,14-08(Voice of India/Binaya Kumar Das)The mother grabbed her son and jumped from the Nemalo Chithotpala bridge under Nemalo police station and Nischintakoili block. However, while the life of the minor son was lost, the mother’s whereabouts were not found till the time of writing.
According to the news, a woman named Suhana Parmin (27) of Nemal Panchayat Maligan area grabbed the minor son and jumped into Chithotpala river. The minor girl said that after first throwing her son into the river, she herself jumped into the river. The name of the deceased minor is Sk Tayer Uddin (10). While it is not known under what circumstances both the mother and the child drowned in the river, the relative who jumped said that he was worried because of the group loan.
On receiving the news, the fire brigade reached the spot and searched. After a long search, the police recovered the body of the child’s son. When the mother’s address was not found, the police seized the body and sent it for autopsy. However, the family is broken because of the death of the infant son and the woman’s missing address.
